A group of Malawians living in the UK have donated 1025 new hospital beds and 781 new hospital mattresses to the College of Medicine.
Speaking to the media after making the donation, Malawi health care support ( MAHECAS)
Country Coordinator, Lawrence Gogodasi, said they have donated beds and mattresses in response to Com’s initiative of raising funds and sourcing medical resources and equipment for the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
And on his part Acting principal college of Medicine ,Professor MacPherson Mallewa said the donation has come a right time when a need had risen.
