Busy Signal performed for close to two hours at the 2022 Sand Music Festival last night, with a special moment that saw an old fan joining the Jamaican artist on stage.
Dubbed Jamaica versus Malawi, the old fan who is often seen in the streets of Lilongwe pulling mimic stunts of various reggae dancehall icons attracted applause from the audience.
Meanwhile Sand Music Festival Director Soldier Lucius Banda described the three-day festival as a success despite starting on a bad note.
All artists on the line up performed including Tanzania’s Harmonize, who was detained by the police on Saturday ahead of his performance, for alleged monetary issues.
