NKASA SHARES LESSONS FROM HIS PAST MISTAKES – “LEARN FROM ME” NKASA

The old legend of ‘Mose wa Lero’ Mpungu Joseph Nkasa had precious time talking his music journey on 3rd of April, 2021.

According to Nkasa, he advised upcoming musicians to partake from his music journey and learn not to repeat his mistakes. Our reporters, had time asking Nkasa how he ferried in his music career.

Nkasa admits having ups and downs, “my music journey went diminishing when artists failed to sale recorded tapes and CD’s to advanced technology, I recall we were forced to bow to music burning studio’s. Later on, O.G Issa who happened to be our leading distributer suffered a shutdown, this affected my income stand” He said

Nkasa added that, he went praising Political figures in order to make earns meat and feed his family. “the more I sang and Dance for politicians, only fake Promises could smile my way out. I remember, I and my band went to a certain extent where we got severely beaten and I lost my teeth in the process. But these Politicians could not Bail us out.” He commented

Phungu further advises upcoming musicians to always keep clean reputation, for regime comes and goes. I got the name Phungu, simply because I used to correlate myself tunes to the serving regime – but I discovered that increased my tears and sorrows.

Nkasa confided that after a long retirement from music, he will release a song of peace, love and unity. A song that will unify all tribes.

He added that music industry will only be promoted as long as it is considered as a career, to rescue musicians to fall into politics.
