The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has granted approval for Civo, Aubrey Dimba, and Balaka stadia to begin hosting TNM Super League matches and other official competitions.
This decision follows an inspection meeting held by FAM’s Club Licensing Department on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, at Game Haven in Thyolo.
The stadia were cleared after successfully addressing issues that were identified during earlier assessments.
However, Chitipa Stadium is not among the approved venues. It has not yet met the standards required by FAM to host elite matches.
Commenting on the progress, Chitipa District Director of Public Works, Misheck Gondwe, assured the people of Chitipa that construction work is nearly complete.
“There is only one contractor finalizing the remaining touches. Within three to four days, everything will be ready,” said Gondwe.
