Twist of events remain unfolding in Blue Eagles camp following the exit of Gerald Phiri Snr as the head coach

Meanwhile, Blue Eagles management has asked players to choose for themselves would they want to be the head coach of the team for the next season.

The two names emerged from the players choice and have been submitted. Joseph Malalizana of TN Stars or Dan Dzinkambani of Karonga United FC are the ones proposed by the players.

Normally, it is not easy for a civilian to coach Blue Eagles football team, a coach must be within those in uniform.

Players have been involved in selecting the head coach to avoid confusion between players and officials.

There are comments from the team’s fans that players were sabotaging the matches, this is because Phiri Snr was selected by the team’s officials only.

It is believed in football, players are the key elements for victory beside having a well organized management.
