Ekhaya Football Club has announced the immediate departure of First Team Head Coach Enos Chatama, following a review by the Club’s leadership.
The Club says the decision has been made in the best interests of the team and its objectives for the season and beyond.
Ekhaya FC has thanked Chatama for his service, acknowledging his role in guiding the team to a top-eight finish in its debut season and securing the Club’s maiden Airtel Top 8 trophy.
In the meantime, Fundi Akidu will take charge as Interim Coach, assisted by Moses Chavula, as the Club considers its next steps regarding the vacant Head Coach position.
Club Chief Executive Officer Thando Mhango has meanwhile called on players, staff, supporters and partners to remain united behind the team during the transition as Ekhaya FC stays focused on achieving its objectives for the season.
