Project Innovation Centre (PIC) is determined to dominate Malawi industry with new local products.
Speaking during the Mzuzu presentation on the theme ‘Rise Entrepreneur, Rise innovation, Rise Malawi’, Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira the Executive Manager for project Innovation Centre challenged entrepreneurs to take over the business sector in Malawi by coming with local standard products that will benefit Malawians.
“There must be a room for us to subscribe to the business sector, if the Malawi Bureau of standards registers our 5000 entrepreneurs we will surely dominate the business sector in Malawi.” Kachamba Ngwira speaking during Mzuzu presentation
Ngwira said the project is in Three phases with the aim is to finally coming up with 200 best ideas which will undergo a proper training with MBS.
So far people have been trained in how to make Shampoo, Glyceline, Chicken feed, Mosquito Repellant, Bakery, Sugar, Soya Milk, Soya Pieces, Pizza, Soap, Yoghurt just to mention a few.
The training has been organised for free by PIC with partnership with SMED and sponsored by FDH Bank.
The training has attracted people from all districts in the Northern Region as well as Tanzania and Zambia.
After encouraging thousands of Entrepreneurs tonight Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira is set to make a presentation to hundreds of students domiciled at the auditorium Hall in Mzuzu University.
