MZAVA’s HEADER COSTS FLAMES

The Malawi national football team- the flames slipped to the bottom of the Group D world Cup qualifiers following their humiliating 1-0 loss to the Mambas of Mozambique.

The Flames Captain Limbikani MZAVA’s header went past his own goal keeper – Ernest Kakhobwe.

The goal was officially declared in the 50 plus minutes of the second half, after a series of counter attacks from Mozambique strikers.

Some quarters are already expressing their displeasure over flames Mentor’s (Meke Mwase) Capabilities to lead the team at the next year’s African Cup of Nations Finals in Cameroon.

The Malawi national football team has only won once in six World Cup qualification matches to finish bottom of Group D.
