Three private schools in the country, have opted to close early, as a precaution against the rising cases of Covid 19 in the country.
The three are Kamuzu Academy, Central High International School and Hill View International Primary.
According to notices that our reporters has seen, Kamuzu Academy management has closed following a rise of confirmed positive cases in Kasungu district where the institution is located.
On the other hand, the board of the other two schools which are both in Blantyre, cite the general sudden rise in COVID-19 cases in the country.
Initially, the schools were scheduled to close the current term next week.
