After getting deeper into issues concerning the acquisition of land through dubious means in Blantyre by Asians such as Faisal Aboo, it has been discovered that the General Manager of Malawi Housing Eunice Napolo is at the centre of the controversy.
Most of the land that Faisal Aboo bought belonged to Malawi Housing. A deep check on Eunice Napolo reveals she is a girlfriend to Ben Phiri. The scam involved Ben Phiri who had connections with crooked Indians. Ben Phiri used his girlfriend Eunice Napolo, MHC General Manager to give land to Faisal Aboo and other indians. The two would get their cuts in millions after every transaction.
During the campaign period Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima made a public announcement at a rally regarding the sale of public land in Limbe by an umbrella bodied like politician, he never mentioned the name.
The truth of the matter is that Ben Phiri was at the forefront conniving with Indians and his girlfriend Eunice Napolo was the one doing paperwork using her position defrauding land that belong to the public.
The public may also wish to know that The District Commissioner for Blantyre Benard Mkasala ( a brother to Ben Phiri) has sold several prime plots around the city of Blantyre to Indians and received kickbacks for the same. The whole Public land for Blantyre in Mpemba near Mpemba law school is gone, Nkasala sold it out.
He even gave himself various plots and has built several mansions for himself.
The land is gone just like that and worse still, Eunice Napolo is still heading Malawi Housing Corporation. And Benard Nkasala is still heading Blantyre District as a District Commissioner.
