Kawale Police Impounds 18 Motorcycles in Road Safety Enforcement

Kawale Police, through its Traffic Branch, has impounded 18 motorcycles during a road safety enforcement exercise aimed at curbing traffic offences among kabaza riders.

The exercise was led by the Station Traffic Officer (STO), Superintendent Reignford Mgala, who led his subordinates in enforcing traffic regulations and promoting road safety.

The impounded motorcycles were booked for various traffic offences, including riding without helmets, riding without valid driving licences, operating without insurance, and over-speeding.

Police in the area has since urged all motorists, motorcycle riders and other road users to observe traffic laws and regulations and always put safety first.
