VP on Reforms: Week Two of Evaluation Sessions in Full Swing

Wednesday, 23rd April 2025 – Vice President Dr. Michael Bizwick Usi continued with the second week of public sector reforms progress evaluation sessions, holding a series of high-level engagements with key government ministries.

Yesterday, Tuesday 22nd April, Dr. Usi met with the Ministry of Health, and today the Vice President is chairing sessions with the Ministry of Gender, followed by the Ministries of Natural Resources and Climate Change, and Information & Digitisation.

The ongoing meetings are part of the government’s commitment to strengthening public service delivery through continuous monitoring and targeted reforms.

“These sessions help us identify gaps and fine-tune our strategies so that we deliver tangible results for the people of Malawi,” said the Vice President.

Ministries are providing detailed updates on reform initiatives, challenges encountered, and the impact of ongoing improvements in service delivery.

The evaluation process is set to continue throughout the week, as the Vice President seeks to ensure that reforms translate into real benefits for Malawians.
