The Lilongwe giants, Silver Strikers, humbled the Blantyre giants, Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, with a 2-0 win at Silver Stadium on May 19, 2024, in the 7th week of the TNM Super League.
This victory puts the Central Bankers clearly on top, with a 6-point lead, after dominating their close rivals Nyasa Big Bullets, who are now in second place with 13 points.
Silver Strikers remain undefeated with six wins and one draw, while Wanderers are in 4th place with 12 points, having one loss and three wins.
Chikondi Kamanga scored the leading goal for Silver Strikers at the 57th minute, and Zebron Kalima sealed the win with a second goal at the 84th minute.
