The Northern Region Volleyball League is gearing up for its Elective General Meeting, scheduled to convene on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the RSDOs Board Room in Mzuzu.
The primary focus of this meeting is to address vacant committee positions. Notable among these vacancies are the Vice Chair position, previously held by Aaron Manda, who resigned upon his appointment to the Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) Exco. Additionally, the Vice General Secretary role, previously held by Chifundo Zingunde, is open due to resignation.
Furthermore, the Publicity Secretary position, once occupied by Paul Chiumia, is now vacant following his resignation for personal reasons. The meeting aims to fill these crucial roles, ensuring the continued effective functioning of the league.
The committee members will also see changes, with one of them, Francis Trueman Banda, having departed long ago. The Elective General Meeting seeks to bring new leadership into these positions for the growth and success of the Northern Region Volleyball League.
