GRIEVIN TRIUMP IN A BILLIARDS CAFE 100K CHAMPIONSHIP

In an impressive showcase of talent, Grievin Standford, also known as “GINTE,” a skilled pool player hailing from Malawi, secured a resounding victory in an international pool tournament that brought together champions from Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Uganda. The highly competitive Billiards Cafe Double Elimination Comp witnessed Grievin’s exceptional performance, propelling him to triumph in the final against his Ugandan counterpart, Ibra Sejjemba.

Grievin’s journey to the top was marked by a standout moment, a defining shot that left an indelible mark on the tournament. His prowess earned him the coveted first-place position, and he proudly walked away with a substantial prize of 50,000 Zambian Kwacha, equivalent to an impressive 3,573,443 Malawian Kwacha. Ibra Sejjemba, demonstrating commendable skill, secured the second position and received a noteworthy prize of 25,000 Zambian Kwacha during the “BREAK and Finish live game” held on the evening of November 26th.

The tournament featured a lineup of accomplished players from diverse countries, with notable mentions including Caesar Chandiga from Uganda, who claimed the 6th position and a prize of 10,000 Zambian Kwacha. Other participants, such as Tendai “Inspector” Mubaiwa from Zimbabwe, Victor “Buffalo” Sinyinza, Moses “Adebayo” Chishimba, Zayid Munshi, and Chileshe “Bobo” Mubanga, all representing Zambia, showcased their formidable skills.

Recognizing Grievin Standford’s outstanding achievement, Mangame Properties and Sagetech Investments Ltd, prominent property firms in Malawi, expressed their appreciation by awarding him a generous 15m x 30m plot in Matindi. This plot, located a mere 800m away from the M1, serves as a tangible testament to Ginte’s excellence in the international pool arena.
