The Board of Governors at Malawi Institute of Management has appointed Dr Jessie Kabwila, the former UTM and MCP Executive member as their Executive Director.
In a signed letter from N.D Mabvunde representing the board indicates the appointment is with effect from 13th July 2022.
The development comes barely days after their the Board suspended the Acting Executive Director Samson Sikelo Phiri, acting training manager Mr Jambo and Catherine mselemu who was the acting Director of finance.
Dr Kabwila is well versed in Managerial roles having served the Chancellor college as the Acting President of Chancellor college Academic Staff Union. Kabwila earned a Doctorate in comparative literature from Binghaton University, where she also served as president of the Graduate student organisation in 2008 – 2009.
