Reports on corruption research has revealed that the police department is the most corrupt organ in the country.
This has been established following the Afrobarometer released report.
The report also says various political party supporters have their own say on the rise of corruption in the country. It is indicated that 58 percent of Malawi Congress Party supporters, 74 percent of UTM,and 72 percent of Democratic Progressive Party supporters believe that corruption had worsened in Malawi in the past 12 months.
On the fight against corruption, the report shows that 54 percent of Malawians believe that fight against corruption is worse under the Tonse Alliance Government than it was during the Democratic Progressive Party government.
