BUCCANEERS/AMABHAKABHAKA BOOTED OUT IN NEDBANK CUP

Orlando Pirates football club on Wednesday March 9 banged out of Nedbank cup after suffering a defeat by Marumo Gallants.

The game between Pirates and Marumo ended 1-1 in regulation time and went to extra time which produced nothing to both sides.

Amabakhamakha under its mentor Mandla Ncikhazi failed to convert all their penalties into goals and missed one penalty which gave victory to their arch-rivals, Marumo Gallants.

The Flames striker who plays for Orlando Pirates, Gabadinho Mhango was not on the line up and he was excluded even on the bench.

Mandla who in his recent sentments said South Africa League is better than Africa Cup of Nations, made this statement after he was hovered with questions from people following Mhango’s absensure in his first eleven selection.

Coach Mandla is being sidelined by many football fans both in South Africa and abroad. He has even labeled as someone who is jealousy for Mhango’s successes during the last ended AFCON matches and his performance as Pirates players.

Many Malawians who are Orlando Pirates’ supporters are happy with the team’s defeat, saying this is a good lesson to the dark hearted couch Mandla.
