Police in Kawale are keeping in custody two men for breaking offences and recover stollen items.
The two were arrested on March 9, 2022 following intensive investigations by Area 23 detectives and the team have managed to recover stollen items worthy a million kwacha, among the recovered items are Speakers, Hi sense plasma screen, speakers, battery terminals, cubical stools and some assorted items.
The suspect committed the offence between the month of January and February 2022 in Area 23, Kawale township
Meanwhile the suspects are in our Police custody and will appear in court soon to answer the case of breaking into a building and committing a felony therein which is contrary to section 311(1) of the penal code.
Chingwalu hails from Mdindo Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chadza in Lilongwe District while Adam comes from Amani Village, Traditional Authority Mkula in Machinga.
