On the drive to wrap up her Christmas festival, Mchinji North East legislator Esther Majaza, MP storms Kambuwe Trading Center to celebrate with people.
Among other things, the Parliamentarian distributed jackets and blazers to all traditional leaders in her constituency.
Later on the gathering was treated with drinks and food. Majaza provided one cow, several goats and chickens for the feast.
“As Parliamentarians ,we need to be with our people in all seasons of a life. What we have started it is a continuous thing. People should have trust in me as their legislator.”
Majaza is the first female member of Parliament since the birth of Mchinji North East constituency.
Gule wamkulu was among the dances that spiced the first ever Christmas gathering in the constituency.
