Today, the Central Region Women’s Football Committee is having an Awards Ceremony for the 2023 FAM Women’s Regional League at Civil Club House in Lilongwe.
MDF Lioness won the League with 37 points from 14 games, leading by 2 points over the runners-up, Ascent Academy, who finished the League with 35 points from the same number of games.
In the South Region, the ceremony will be held tomorrow, Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Mpira Village. Mtopwa claimed the championship after scoring 39 points from 14 games, followed by FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve Women with 37 points from the 14 games played.
In the Northern Region, the ceremony will also be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Mbachenda Hall in Mzuzu. Moyale Barracks Sisters claimed the championship with 34 points from 14 games, followed by MK Academy with 27 points from the 14 games played.
