MERA CEO, Collins Magalasi says he does not not understand the first charge of abuse of office and he has requested to be given time so he consult his lawyer.
He has told the court that he is an economist and not a legal expert so he does not understand some of the jargons used in the particulars .
Defense lawyer Andy Kaonga has since asked for an adjustment saying he needs time to advise his client and also have a look at the documents state has served them.
Earlier he had asked the magistrate to recuse herself from the case arguing the magistrate is being bias and he feels his client won’t have a fair trial.
