Four people have died in a road accident that happened earlier today at Kandonje along Zalewa-Lilongwe road, police have confirmed.

Neno Police Public Relations Officer Sargent Joshua Jalasi confirmed the incident to Nyanja Online.

The police publicists said the accident involved a Toyota Ractis registration number KK9382 which was being driven by Miss Tiyamike Severe.

Miss Severe hittted a pothole and due to overspending the car swerved to the right lane where she hittted another vehicle registered number LL7629 and was driven by Mr Jimmy Ntwali who is a Congolese national.

Police have since advised drivers to always observe speed in order to alive safely.
