Two blood sisters have been arrested in Zomba for being found With two firearms.
The two sisters are;
1. Jessica Makumba, aged 21, and,
2. Jane Makumba, aged 29.
Yesterday, the Crimnal Investigation Department officers got a tip that the suspects were keeping the firearms at Chinamwali trading centre.
The officers went into investigation and arrested the two sisters and recovered the two shotguns from them which were hidden in the ground.
The two will appear in court soon.
The suspects come from Makumba village, Traditional Authority Kuntumanje in Zomba District.
