SALIMA FLOOD VICTIMS RECEIVE FOOD AID FROM GOOD NEWS MINISTRIES

On Wednesday March 9, 2022, Good News Ministries led by Prophet Patson Gondwe donated over Five hundred bags of maize to Tropical Storm ANA’s affected flood victims in Salima district.

The Lilongwe based prophet led some of his church members to KandaUsiwa village at Linthipe camp in the area of Traditional Authority Pemba in Salima.

The donated items were; about 700 bags of maize of 25kgs, a food pack of 10 Soya pieces packets, salt and washing soap.

Speaking to the hundreds of the natural disaster victims, Prophet Gondwe encouraged the people to always have faith in God, both in difficult or good times.

“God is love, so we must show one another the same love. Whatever little we have let us share with our brothers and sisters.” Emphasised the prophet.

Most of the beneficiaries who were interviewed expressed their gratitude to God as they have been staying without any hope.

“God has come to our rescue through prophet Gondwe, we lost a lot of our belongings following the floods. We were starving with hunger, and now we have food to eat. We know and pray for God to bless Good News Ministries for them to extend the same assistance to others who are also in big need.” expressed one of the victims.

The development has surfaced as Malawi was affected by floods. Many districts like Salima, Chikwawa and Nsanje just to mention a few were heavily hit by tropical storm Ana and a lot of people were displaced and are in lack of food, clothes and shelter.

Thank you is a response from a happy heart.
