Thousands have assembled at Area 18B where the funeral ceremony for Agness Katengeza born on 13 May, 1979. A former employee of the Reserve Bank of Malawi is in progress in Lilongwe.
Among notable figures at the funeral are: United States Ambassador for Malawi, parliamentarian – Alfred Jiya, Reserve Bank Governor, Wilson Banda and other Reserve Bank officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Apostle Esau Banda calls on government through Malawi Police to investigate thoroughly the Murder of their former workmate. “It’s Sad to learn the departure of our beloved sister, its sad to die in the hands of murderers. We believe Malawi Police will bring to book the culprits.” He said in a somber tone
Agnes Katengeza was found dead in her car a day after she was reported Missing behind gate way mall in Lilongwe days ago.
