The Northern Region Police Division has said road traffic accidents and crimes have decreased since January to December this year comparing to same period last year.
According to the division, 5,177 cases of crime have been recorded this year as compared to last year’s 5,587.
Up to this period this year, the division has registered 452 road accidents cases as compared compared to the same period of last year’s 1,171 cases.
Commissioner of police for the Northern Region, Rhoda Manjolo has asked all officers in charge to work hand in hand with community members to make the festive season free from crime and road traffic accidents.
