Just as he promised during campaign period, avantmalawi is here to confirm that Law maker for Nsanje North Constituency Hon Enock Chizuzu has honored his Promise by paying school fees for more than 100 students in the Lower Shire.
According to a cheque accessed by avantmalawi, the figure of K2,221,725 is meant to benefit five secondary schools namely; Makhanga Community day – K464,030,
Namilembe community day – K140,000,
Fatima community day – K268,645,
Masenjere community day – K512,875, Makhanga Millennium K80,000 and
New life private secondary – K750,185.
These schools are set to allow students to learn for free, among the officials who received the cheque were Deputy Principal for Masenjere CDSS
Principal for Fatima CDSS and
Principal for Makhanga CDSS.
Talking after receiving the cheque was the Principal for Makhanga CDSS who narrated the Development as encouraging and very rare for a serving MP to pay fees for students. He said, they will identify students to benefit from the cheque who are less privileged.
Talking to avantmalawi, Hon Chizuzu said he will continue to develop his constituency to fight illiteracy, early marriages and school drop outs. He added that girls are also to benefit from the Development to allow them go back to school without any hindrances.
