Nsanje central Pastors Fraternal on Wednesday conducted prayers where among others was aimed at seeking God’s guidance in the fourth coming March 30 By- Elections in the area.
The prayers took place at Chilumba Africa Evangelical church in the area of Senior Chief Tengani where different religious leaders,Member of parliament for Chikwawa central,Salim Bagus, former legislator, Zaheer Issa and the Malawi Congress party aspiring candidate Kafandikhale Mandivana,were in attendance.
Speaking to this reporter soon after the ceremony, Reverend Jackson Kamchedzera of Nyamithuthu Assemblies of God said Prayers are vital in decision making and there is need for clergymen to seek God’s guidance to give them good leader in the area.

Chikwawa central constituency Member of parliament,Salim Bagus who was among the guests, hailed the prayers’ organizers saying it is important to choose God’s guidance in the by-elections.
“As Malawians we are a God-fearing nation and we believe that God is going to give our candidates the spirit of tolerance.
“So, we hope we are going to have very good campaign in the remaining days and later peaceful elections,”Bagus said.
The prayers held on Wednesday were themed: Free, fair and credible elections, unity among parties and aspiring candidates and, transparency and accountability results of the elections
