Another grouping under the banner, Citizen Advancement for Economic Revolution has come out describing the anti-Ashok Nair demonstrations slated for Wednesday in Lilongwe as criminal in nature.
Team leader, Redson Munlo has told journalists in Lilongwe that ACB director general is not immune to lawsuits and finds the demos misplaced.
The grouping further wants Chizuma to disclose the identity of the person she was talking to in a leaked audio that went viral recently.
It further denounces efforts that might trigger violence and promote hate speech.
Meanwhile, Citizens Against Impunity and Corruption group has defied the Lilongwe District Council’s cancellation of their planned Wednesday demos; saying the DC has no such powers.
Among others, the group wants corruption suspect Ashok Nair to withdraw a court case against Chizuma. Nair dragged Chizuma to court over defamation.
