On Saturday, 13th March 2021, the leader of opposition in the August house, who also happens to be Democratic progressive party’s aspirant for the forth coming Dpp conversion – Hon Kondwani Nankhumwa, launched a whistle stop campaign in Nsanje North.
In support for Mcheka Chilenje, Nankhumwa together with Grezder Jeffrey, Hon Victor Musowa among other Dpp top Officials flooded M’bwazi Grounds where avantmalawi witnessed the blue sea from people of various walk of life.
Speaking to the multitude who gathered, Nankhumwa went wooing people only to vote for Mcheka Chilenje, he claims Chilenje is the only caring law maker who can develop Nsanje North.
Our reports Indicates after the nullification of 2019 elections, Esther Chilenje is being challenged by Enock Chizuzu of MCP.
Nsanje North will go on a by elections on 30 March 2021, where only two candidates (Chizuzu and Chilenje) will fight their way to Parliament.
On the same path,our reports indicates Hon Victor Musowa as he was addressing the people he was quote off track labelling Malawi government has failed to develop Nsanje north rather introducing Covid19 Vaccines.
This brought much criticism from his colleagues and social media at large. Following his retraction of the Statement to have caused misunderstanding to the audience. “Alot of people has respect from me, therefore my sentiments are regrettable as I should not attack the Ministry of health” he commented
