OC Kawale tips officers on professionalism during refugees relocation exerciseKawale officer in -charge, Mr Almakio PG Daka, (Assistant Commissioner of Police) has urged officers under his command to be within the parameters of the law when it comes to law enforcement.

Daka, was speaking during a lecture he organised on April 27 ,2021 at the station, aimed at enlightening officers on how to operate towards the impending operation of relocating refugees to Dzaleka.

Mr Daka, said that everyone deployed for this operation should make sure that they work as a team and also maintain visibility.

Daka, further advised officers that no one should take advantage of this exercise to victimize these asylum seekers .

“We are bound to facilitate the smooth process of relocation and ensure that we take charge of this and not the community members ” said Daka.

The OC organized the lecture to prepare the officers for the operation that will be conducted tomorrow.

He further alerted the officers to be watchful, making sure that community members do not take this operation an opportunity to harass the refugees.
