Alphack Mkandawire, general secretary of the league’s administration, commended Njiko’s initiative. He remarked that supplying match balls to the teams would significantly enhance their competitive spirit, an essential step in fostering local football’s growth and enthusiasm.
Brave Nyasulu, the coach of Lupaso Plutonium FC, expressed heartfelt thanks to Njiko for his support. He acknowledged that the match ball and K50,000 received would greatly aid in managing the team’s operations, enabling them to concentrate on their upcoming matches.
Similarly, Gradwell Phiri from Zolozolo United FC conveyed his gratitude for the match ball and funds. He noted that this support is a tremendous relief for the team, which has faced challenges in securing a match ball even for training sessions.
