Newly elected member of parliament for Nsanje North Constituency , Enock Chizuza has pledged to donate 2 million Kwacha towards the payment of examination fees for needy students in his constituency who are willing to sit again for Malawi School Certificate Education ( MSCE) examinations.
In Nsanje North Constituency , over 200 students have not performed well in the just released MSCE results which has prompted the legislator to support them with examination fees as one way of transfoming the area in terms of education.
Chizuzu has promised the students that their exams fees will be sorted out and they will re-sit for MSCE examinations with an effort to achieve good grades.
Chizuzu has also pledged to sponsor Primary school students who are yet writting their Mock examinations to write for free, he set aside 1 million Kwacha to run examinations which are mostly paid by the learners. With this Development, the standard 8 learners saves almost K1,000 which is used to paying for Mock examinations
He has also encouraged the students to work extra hard in preparation of the next examinations.
Few days ago, Malawi National Examination Board ( MANEB) released MSCE results , out of 138, 310 students who sat for 2020 MSCE examinations 57,293 passed representing 41.1% which is described as the poorest pass rate in the decade.
