It was a day full of joy and tears when Mseche CDSS Board of Directors, management and staff organized a farewell party to its outgoing head teacher who has been promoted to Principle Education Officer at Dedza District Council.
Catherine Zulu BOG chairperson, expressed her gratitude towards Miss Nyoni. “Madam Maggie Nyoni became very popular at Mseche for her selfless, hardworking and motivating spirit, great love and care for all students and teachers.”
“She is also, good at interacting with the local community as witnessed by the turn up of many chiefs bemoaning her departure here. She has lifted the banner of Mseche secondary by producing 100% passrate for both JCE & MSCE in the 2022 Exams results”. She added.
During the event parents, students and fellow staff members showered her with a lot of gifts, proving that she was the people’s darling. Local chiefs, BOG members, communities members shed tears in desperation noting that their favourite teacher is leaving.
Amongst the gifts received, Miss Nyoni was also given money by the communities surrounding Mseche CDSS as one way of blessing her transfer.
