• ON A ROAD ACCIDENT IN KAWALE
• SOLDIER REPORTED DEAD FROM MOB JUSTICE
A 4-year-old boy, Chancy Mvula, has died after being hit by a Toyota Saloon car, in Kawale 2, Lilongwe.
The accident occurred yesterday at about 5 PM within Kawale 2.
The motor vehicle, Toyota Fielder Saloon; registration number MC 4027 driven by a Malawi Army Officer, Staff Sergeant Beka was coming from Matchansi heading towards Kawale 2.
On arrival at Chimphanda’s residence in the area, he hit Chancy Mvula (the deceased), and then hit the brick fence of a Mr Chimphanda.
The young boy sustained multiple head injuries and died while receiving treatment at Kamuzu Central Hospital.
Meanwhile there are unconfirmed reports that the soldier Sergeant Beka has also been killed through mob justice…by the people of Kawale.
