Government has closed Mangochi Secondary School after over half of boarding students tested positive for Covid19 at the school.
According to the Ministry of health, 95 students out of 147 tested positive after an exercise the school carried.
Dr. Kondwani Mamba, Mangochi District Health Officer, has said 82 students are Girls and 13 are boys.
Form 4 students will be writing the exams under strict regulations from the concerned ministries.
Last Sunday, government ordered a three week recess for schools, a period which President Lazarus Chakwera said will be used to ascertain whether classes may proceed or not
