Kawale Police caution Mulodza learners on crime,road accidents

Kawale Police Station through the office of community policing on February 5,2025 sensitized primary learners at Mulodza school on crime and road accidents.

The team,led by the Station Officer (SO), Senior Superintendent Alex Zimba unpacked several issues that are heightened in schools which leads into violation of laws of the country and further render many learner’s to drop out from school.

Addressing the learners, Senior Superintendent Alex Zimba warned students to desist from any misconduct that can doom their future, such as drug and substance abuse.

He noted the prevalence of crime perpetrators at Mulodza school and further asked learners for a stop.
Issues of drowning, sexual violence and gross indicipline were equally tackled by Officers from Criminal Investigation Department and Community Policing.

On road safety tips, Sub Inspector Zione Chingaipe took the learners to the Zebra crossing to practically demonstrate the best practices in crossing the road and the right side to move as a pedestrian.

Mulodza Head Teacher, Loncy Msunga Banda expressed her profound gratitude to Kawale Police for the timely visit citing that the meeting has opened the eyes of the many students.She urged the learners utilize the tips shared to halt crime and road accidents.She further analysed the meeting as vital, saying that if continued it will help in school dropout reduction.
