Kawale Police Officer In-Charge, Mr Timothy Phiri, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) on Thursday, November 30, 2023 charged officers under his command to observe professionalism and be dedicated to duty.
The Officer In-Charge made the remarks during his first lecture aimed at interacting with officers and sharing his vision towards fighting crime.
Before sharing this vision, Phiri led the officers into the word of God from the book of 1 Samuel 7 verse 3-13 with his sermon titled “Puting God first in everything.”
During his maiden speech, Phiri stressed much on the need for every branch to be result oriented, dedicated and demostrate high level of professionalism when serving the public by among others, observing bail conditions and being non-partisan.
He further urged officers on visibility by conducting foot patrols, motor vehicle patrols both during day and night times. The Officer In-Charge tasked every branch to take its position and demostrate their capability by showcasing individual potential that can directly contribute to the team’s success.
Phiri then revealed “team spirit” as his slogan for officers to move in one direction for the station to win the fight against crime.
On his part, the Station Officer, Superintendent Chrispine Zintambira welcomed the new Officer In-Charge and promised total support.
