In Lilongwe the Senior Resident Magistrate Court has formerly laid Murder charges on late Former Journalist and UNDP employee Nomsa Mkandawire husband, Paul Taulo and her Maid Mary Eric.
The two suspected Murderers appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Shukurani Kumbani in the capital Lilongwe today after they were put on remand pending investigations on the same.
The duo were arrested yesterday Thursday 20 July 2023.
Their arrests followed investigations that were instituted to find out the cause of the death of late Nomsa.
Renowned pathologist, Dr. Charles Dzamalala’s autopsy indicated that Nomsa was poisoned.
Until her death, Nomsa Mkandawire worked for the United Nations Development Programme in South Sudan.
Nomsa previously worked for Malawi Broadcasting Corporation as well as Save the Children before securing the UNDP job.
