The Grand Palace Northern Regional Volleyball Bonanza kicked off with a bang as eight men’s teams secured their spots in the quarterfinals. Among these talented teams are the Chibavi Smashers, Katoto Trickers Ekwendeni VT, Moyale VT, Eagle Claws, Mzuni Trajons, Raiply, and Troopers. The competition is already heating up, promising thrilling matches ahead.
On the women’s side, four teams have advanced to the semifinals, showcasing their exceptional skills. Ultimate Volleyball Club, Chibavi Queens, Moyale Queens, and Mzuzu Fire SC have proven themselves as formidable contenders in this exciting event.

A total of 21 intense games have been played in the group stages, providing fans with plenty of action and suspense. Volleyball enthusiasts from the region have been treated to exceptional displays of talent and sportsmanship.
This captivating Bonanza, sponsored by the generous Grand Palace Hotel with a sponsorship of K4.2 million, has not only brought volleyball enthusiasts together but also provided a platform for hidden talents to shine. The support from Grand Palace Hotel is instrumental in nurturing and promoting sports in the region.
Aaron Manda, the leader of the Technical team for the Bonanza, expressed his delight with the event’s first day. He commended all the participating teams for their determination and eagerness to showcase their talents on this prestigious stage. This Bonanza is indeed a stage for the region’s volleyball talent to shine and grow.
