The Tisamale Chilengwe movement has been launched today on October 22nd, 2021, in the heart of Lilongwe (Game premises).
Avantmalawi reporters captured Lulu (Malawi musician) gracing the big walk. In his songs, Lulu brought awe to the audience due to his performance, especially when he sung “Tisamale Chilengwe, Tisamale Mitengoyi, Tisamale Mitsinjeyi.”
In an interview with the President of the Association for Environmental Journalists, Mathews Malaya, he urged Lilongwe residents to clean the capital city since charity begins at home.
Malata added that business people selling their commodities in the city must not litter around the city, instead they should use provided waste bins.
Representative from Banks, Universities (LUANAR), Secondary and tertiary schools danced Lulu’s songs whilst carrying placards, in colouring the event.
