DEPUTY MINISTER OF LABOR AND HER BOSS CLEARED OFF ON K730,000 ALLOWANCE CLAIMS

Avantmalawi has it in record that the deputy Minister for labor, Vera Kamtukule and her former boss Ken Kandodo never signed nor benefited anything from the allowance package during the activities which were done in Salima on Covid19.

According to our investigation results, we are gathering these allegations are mounting on political grounds to complicate both the minister and her deputy in a quest having their reputation slandered.

Avantmalawi reporters investigated the matter with sober minds and discovered the meeting in question was attended by 16 people who benefited from the K730,000 and the ministers names were not captured on the list of beneficiaries.

Cheque number 2455 which was paid by C Katsekera on 16 September 2020 proves no allowances paid to the ministers. Refer to the attached document.

This Development comes barely hours after public accounts committee of Parliment has ordered secretary for Ministry of labour to refund the funds in question.
