CHIBAVI REAL STARS CROWNED CHAMPIONS IN BUSHIRI BONANZA

Chibavi Real Stars have been crowned champions of the K5 million Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Bonanza after edging Sporting FC 2–1 at Chibavi Ground in Mzuzu.

Overton Nguluwe gave Chibavi Real Stars the lead, while Clifford Chisale delivered a standout performance, scoring the second goal and earning the Man of the Match award.

The tournament, organised by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, aimed to identify promising football talent for Goshen City Dedza Dynamos. Communications Director Aubrey Kusakala described the event as a success, citing the high level of talent showcased.

Kusakala confirmed that Clifford Chisale of Chibavi Real Stars and Newton Mhango of Lube Masters have been selected without trials to join Goshen City Dedza Dynamos. The duo will begin with the reserve side before progressing to the senior team when the transfer window opens.

Chibavi Real Stars General Secretary Jackson Sichali expressed satisfaction with the triumph, adding that the team has now shifted focus to competing for the M’mbelwa Northern Region Football League title. He emphasized the club’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent and creating pathways in football.
