Police in Kawale have arrested a 42-year-old Felix Raphael for being found with properties (tyres) suspected to have been stolen.
Felix Raphael, a Salima based business man has been arrested for being connected to the saga of two security guards who broke into Maranet warehouse and stole a total of 270 brand new tyres worthy 47 millions kwacha.
Investigations by Area 24 detectives revealed that some stolen tyres were sold in Salima, the team managed to locate the suspect in Salima and recovered thirty tyres.In total police have since recovered 56 tyres with high chances of more recoveries.
Meanwhile, investigators are still on ground to further arrest and recover the remaining tyres.
Felix Raphael hails from Kalumbu Village in the area of Traditional Authority Masasa in Ntcheu district.
