The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has summoned Bon Elias Kalindo for hearing following a complaint made by the Attorney General Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda.
In a summon Avant Publications has seen, the AG has lodged a complaint following threats Kalindo issued over the decision by the AG to give Amnesty to those who plundered Public Resources.
The summon is requesting Kalindo to appear before Lilongwe Magistrate Court on Friday the 14th January, the same day Blantyre Demos are scheduled.
According to Kalindo, he sees the summon as an attempt by the office of the AG to stop the Blantyre Demos, but was quick to disclose that he is consulting his legal team.
