Police in Lilongwe have arrested 64 people on various offences bordering on non-compliance of Covid-19 measures.
The suspects were arrested Wednesday and Tuesday night in various places in town.
During the operation, the law enforcers found some suspects without masks and others operating bars outside the permitted hours.
The 64 suspects will appear in court to answer charges which have been levelled against them.
Meanwhile, Lilongwe Police Station is warning the public against non-compliance of Covid-19 regulations.
