Burkina Faso and Cameroon moved into the semi- finals of the Africa Cup of Nations yesterday as they beat Tunisia and Gambia respectively.
Dango Outtala scored the only goal of the game between Burkina Faso and Tunisia and was later sent off whereas Karl Toko Ekambi scored two second half goals as hosts Cameroon beat the Gambia.
Burkina Faso will go on to face either Senegal or Equatorial Guinea who play each other today in the second semifinal on Thursday 3 February while the hosts Cameroon will play either Egypt or Morocco in the first semifinal the same day.
Cameroonian attacking duo, Vincent Aboubakar and Karl Toko Ekambi have now scored 11 goals in 5 games at AFCON 2021.
Aboubakar has 6 goals, 1 assist and Karl Ekambi has 5 goals whereas another Cameroon player Fai Collins has 4 assists at the Competition.
