Two patients are in isolation site at Balaka District after being diagnosed with Cholera signs.
The District health promotion officer, Mercy Nyirenda has confirmed the development. Both of the cases are from Mazenga village, Traditional Authority Phalula in the district.
The development comes just a day after ministry of health has announced to start a vaccination campaign in preventing further spread of the disease.
Malawi has 351 cases of Cholera registered will a recovery of 312 people and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours.
