Residents of Sunnyside in Blantyre have complained about a sewage pipe which is taking ages to be fixed after it got burst over 2 months ago.
Speaking to the media, one of the residents who sought for being anonymous, said they have been reporting the matter to Blantyre City Council (BCC) but nothing has changed thus far.
In response to the issue, Blantyre City Council Public Relations Officer, Deborah Luke, says the coucil is making efforts to fix the sewage pipe.
She further said that they needed quite a lot of material to fix it that’s why they have taken some time. She went on to say that they are now working on a temporary solution while waiting for the resources.
